Accounting Advantage hosts spring QuickBooks classes

ANN ARBOR, February 24th, 2016 – Accounting Advantage recently announced the rollout of their Spring 2016 QuickBooks® Seminar Series. The classes will be held monthly March through year end. Accounting Advantage is an outsourced bookkeeping company dedicated to increasing the profitability of small business through enhanced use of technology.

“The proper use of QuickBooks can give the small business owner information they need to increase profits and reduce costs,” says Accounting Advantage Martha King. “Throughout my 20 years of practice, I have found most users do not take advantage of the advanced features of QuickBooks that can help them turn their business into a money machine.”

Accounting Advantage is offering a basic QuickBooks Class on March 24, April 28, May 26 and June 23 at 6276 Jackson Rd., Suite B, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The four hour class is designed to train business owners on setting up a company and the basic functions needed to develop accurate accounting records.

Local firms form alliance to launch service to early-stagers

ANN ARBOR, December 12th, 2013 – Financial Management Consulting LLC, and Accounting Advantage PLLC, have formed a working alliance to broaden their service offering and collaborate on client accounts and projects. Both groups provide financial services to small and mid-sized businesses in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area. Accounting Advantage provides accounting, bookkeeping and payroll services as well as training and support with QuickBooks and other accounting systems. Financial Management Consulting (FMC) provides outsourced and fractional CFO services to small and entrepreneurial organizations requiring access to c-level financial support, on a flexible and cost-effective schedule.

According to Martha King, CPA, of Accounting Advantage, “We have worked together on projects previously and our clients really appreciate the insight that they (FMC) bring to the table. Whether it’s figuring out the best way to finance something or doing detailed profitability analysis, they add a lot of value.”

Ongoing accounting and system support will also be provided as well as regular access to an experienced CFO.

Martha King continued, “We will also be working with a limited number of premier third-party providers, such as insurance and I.T. professionals, and tax CPAs to complete the service offering. We have been approached a number of times about doing this with strong interest from local entrepreneurs and investors. The advantages of the ‘one-stop-multi-service’ approach are consistency, efficiency, flexibility and lower cost.
