She filled many diverse roles at Flagstar Bank during college and then joined a small medical company right after graduation. There, she gained hands-on experience including accounts payable and receivable, managing inventory and FDA compliance requirements and reporting. Experience

The Understanding Group (TUG) – Jessica converted TUG to QuickBooks from a Mac based accounting system to host on a cloud platform. She performs weekly bookkeeping tasks including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable related work, Customer Deposits, and specific Account Reconciliations. She also performs quarterly review of the financial statements for management analysis.

Sari Solden, MSW – Until recently, Jessica maintained three QuickBooks companies for Sari Solden’s various business practices. Jessica recently combined the two smaller companies together to achieve efficiencies in the accounting area. Her work includes detailed inventory analysis and as well accounts payable, bill pay, specific account for bank and credit card accounts, as well as specific projects as required. Jessica also maintains a specific filing system for the bookkeeping records for 3 various Sari Solden companies.

VP Energy, LLC – Jessica developed a QuickBooks file for VPE, improved the existing chart of accounts for better management reporting specific for VPE. VPE’s QB file is hosted from the cloud and Jessica logs in and maintains all bookkeeping on a weekly basis remotely. These tasks include bill input, credit card expenditures input, payroll input, and reconciliation of specific accounts including all bank accounts.

BuildCreate Studios – Jessica reviewed and worked with BuildCreate management to prepare the QuickBooks file for 2012 tax purposes. Jessica interfaced with the tax accountant and answered questions as well as providing additional information. Jessica currently provides monthly bookkeeping for BuildCreate Studios. This work includes bill input, processing and payment as well as invoice receipt reconciliation and review. Jessica routinely downloads bank transactions and imports these into the BuildCreate QuickBooks file. At month end Jessica will reconcile bank and credit card accounts to ensure that all transactions are included in the accounting records.

Religious Action for Affordable Housing (RAAH) – Jessica provides QuickBooks Online support, including the initial training and ongoing support for transactions entry, and reconciliation. Jessica assisted in the setup of specific reports for this nonprofit organization.

Urban Wave – Jessica worked intensively with this local stand up paddle board company setting up an inventory system usable by the 2 owners. Jessica developed a system for inventory entry compatible with QuickBooks and supporting documentation. She adjusted previous inventory input to the 2012 QuickBooks file for tax preparation. Currently she supports the ongoing bookkeeping activity on a weekly basis, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation work.

Sunventrix – Jessica maintains the bookkeeping records for two companies using QuickBooks Pro for a local solar panel consulting and installation firm. She performs all the accounts payable and accounts receivable work as well as credit card activity input and reconciliation. Jessica also reconciles the bank accounts on an ongoing basis. She also set up payroll for Sunventrix by filing all necessary state and federal information as well as the creating the initial payroll calculations to be used going forward. She records this information to the QuickBooks accounting system and files the appropriate reports and tax remittances with State and Federal agencies.

Zoey Joey Children’s Hair Studio – Jessica created a new QuickBooks for Mac accounting system for Zoey Joey Children’s Hair Studio. She input transactions from the paper records used during the build and startup phase of the studio. She also was instrumental in training management in the ongoing use of the new Mac based accounting system.

Hearing Health Science, Inc. – Jessica organized weekly expense reports and the communication with HHS European affiliate for payment. Jessica also coordinates accounts payable reporting, approvals and payment, as directed and is instrumental in creating financial management reports for company review and discussion.

BK Woodworking – Jessica provides ongoing support for BK Woodworking payroll including pay calculation and tax payment calculation and remittance. Efficiencies gained by converting to MIWAM, from paper remittances used for MI UIA payments.

American BioCare – Jessica provides the monthly bookkeeping for this US company headquartered in Troy, Michigan using a QuickBooks Enterprise accounting system. She input transactions as directed by the Chief Financial Officer using bank statements and other source documents. She also inputs monthly payroll and maintains the accounts payable work. To close a month, Jessica will interface with the CFO and reconcile bank accounts and other accounts, as requested.
